Car Lapping days – Winter

IMPORTANT : PLEASE NOTE THAT ELECTRIC VEHICLES ARE PROHIBITED IN LAPPING due to insurance reasons related to the risk of fire. 

• Regarding the co-pilots and / or accompanying persons, anyone accompanying the pilot must have purchased a co-pilot package.
• No helmet rental available

Regulations for studded tires:

Studs should not protrude more than 1.5mm over the gum blocks. Tires must be DOT and cannot have more studs than the original. An inspection will be made at the entrance to the site. No refund will be made in the event of non-compliance with this regulation.

Lapping day format:

• 3 groups of levels will be made on site (beginner – intermediate – advanced)
• 15 min. sessions on a rotating track
• Studded tires recommended (ice surface)
• Driving experience on ice track recommended

Schedule of the day:

• 9:00 : registrations, technical inspection of vehicles and helmets
• 9.45 : compulsory safety briefing for all pilots
• 10:00 to 4:00 : driving – 15 min alternating sessions
• 4:00 : End of the activity

Compulsory pilot and passenger equipment:

• Mandatory DOT or SNELL 2015 or ECE-2205  approved helmet.
• Tow strap with 2 hooks

Vehicle condition:

• Tires in good condition
• Street studded tires accepted, studs must not protrude more than 1.5mm over the rubber pad and must not have more studs than the original, no competition studs
• No leaks of oil or other liquids
• Brakes in good condition
• Windshield in good condition
• Functional lights and indicators

Payment: by credit card

Terms of cancelation :

• No amount will be debited from your card at the registration. Everything will be debited a few days in advance when the activity is confirmed (depending on the weather).
• If you have any last minute impediment, you will need to be replaced. You are responsible for selling your place to another person.
• No changes will be granted less than 24 working hours before the start of your activity.
